Doug Simpson is founder and President of Artplace, Inc., a 13 year old corporation specializing in fine art.

Doug is a fine art graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He holds a BA in Art Education. He has taught in public shool, private school, and in the studios of Artplace Frame and Gallery for several years.

The techniques taught by Doug have been gleaned from years of experience in various mediums. He has adapted the best of those to new mediums and combinations of mediums. This method allows for quick and simple creation of art projects.

This combination creates the base or structure to apply finishing. Things learned from painting, ceramics, and graphics are all used to produce unique finished art pieces.
